One of the things I’ve noticed about this cardmaking/scrapbooking/papercraft business is that some colours are very common, and others are a lot more rare. One colour you don’t see much of is light blue, which is why I was glad to make my CPS card for this week in light blue (see previous post), and another colour like this is purple, or mauve. So, I’ve combined some more Basic Grey and Papertrey Ink papers for my next creation:
I backed the vintage picture with chipboard, then used a Nestabilities label die to cut out and emboss. The stamp is from Papertrey, and the ribbon and buttons are from my stash.
I’m nearly finished the magazine article I’m working on, but I sort of got sidetracked by all the lovely new things I keep coming across that I simply must try out (
). At least my deadline is still a few weeks away…

Hey Anthea! Just another gorgeous card! Purple is not color I use often either. I do use light blue I think pretty frequently. I like to combine it with colors you would normally see with it like red or orange! Just wanted to stop and see what you have been up to and I see you are keeping very busy! Can’t wait for BGC to get started back up again!
