Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #13

Filed under: Uncategorized — antheam @ 10:34 am

At first I wasn’t sure about doing a card for Dawn’s latest Raspberry Suite Color Challenge, but then I got the inspiration and at all came together.  So, here’s the photo and my card for the latest challenge:

For this card I’ve used Papertrey Ink cardstock and paper in moss and berry, and I embossed the white paper with a Cuttlebug folder.  I die-cut the greeting with my Cuttlebug in red cardstock, and the chipboard butterfly is from K&Co (how cool that it matched!).  The little flower is white, the button is berry, and the little stick pins are red.  See?  All the correct colours…it all works out in the end :) .  Have a great Friday!

I just finished my card for the latest challenge at the Card Positioning Systems blog. Here’s the sketch and my card:

I’ve used paper from Webster’s Pages for this card, and added some vintage text, flowers, buttons, ribbon and stick pins.  I stamped the tag with a mixed messages stamp from Papertrey Ink.  I just got these papers this week and I love them-sort of funky vintage.

I also got some other exciting news this week-my card was picked as card of the week over at the Card Patterns blog!  This means I’m the Guest Designer for next week, and I’ve just sent off my card for that too.  You can check it out by going to their blog.  It made my day!  Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Monday pretties

Filed under: Uncategorized — antheam @ 10:57 am

Hello and happy Monday to you all… Today I’ve got a couple of very feminine cards to show you.  I love pink and green together, and I felt like making something very girly, so I’ve used the Madeline range from K & Co for these cards:

P1020308 (Small)

Lots of layers on this one; I’ve use the matching die-cut, as well as cutting a label using the Nestabilities die, and I’ve done some edge distressing and machine stitching.  The brad is from Francheville, the flowers Kaisercraft, and the stamp Papertrey Ink.

P1020309 (Small)

For this one I used Creative Imaginations paper for the fancy edge, and the K & Co papers on top.  I decorated the ribbon with a metal button, flower, and stick pins.  The butterflies I decorated with rhinestones, and the label is stamped with a Papertrey Ink stamp and attached with a rhinestone brad.  Very girly cards!  Thankyou for stopping by and have a great week!

More Lemonade

Filed under: Uncategorized — antheam @ 10:08 am

So are you sick of seeing my Basic Grey Lemonade cards yet?  I sort of didn’t realise how many I planned all at once.  I wanted to use all the lovely chipboard stickers and there are so many that they each deserve their own card.  So, I’ve got a couple more for show and tell today:

P1020302 (Small)

I wanted to use the watermelon sticker, so I’ve combined the papers with American Crafts ribbon on this one.  I’ve used my Fiskars punch and scalloped scissors, as well as a Cuttlebug embossing border for the details.

P1020299 (Small)

I’ve done some more embossing on this one, and used a Nestabilities label die.

Thankyou to everyone who takes the time to stop by and leave comments; I read each one and appreciate it very much.  Have a lovely day!

Krafty Lemonade

Filed under: Uncategorized — antheam @ 3:47 pm

Today I’ve been playing with my Basic Grey Lemonade papers and stickers.  I’ve combined them with the cool new Kraft papers from Fancy Pants.  Here’s what I’ve made so far:

P1020280 (Small)

For this one I used the birdie, and a chipboard swirl is the branch.  The adhesive lace is by Cristina Re, and I just added the gingham ribbon and some rhinestones.

P1020291 (Small)

I used the Fancy Pants paper as the background, and layered lots of papers for the frills.  The chipboard stickers are decorated with rhinestones and flowers.  Very bright cards!

I also went on a little shopping trip today to my local Spotlight, and was very surprised to find that they have just started stocking Martha Stewart Crafts!  The range is by no means cheap, but I bought the butterfly punch which I’ve always liked the look of, and I also bought the Heather Bailey range of papers and embellishments which are new in too.  Okay, I’m off to use up some more of my ever-growing stash!

I just finished my card for the latest challenge at the Card Positioning Systems blog. Here’s the sketch and my card:

P1020278 (Small)

I’ve used up some of my Basic Grey scraps for this card; the patterned paper is Bittersweet, and I embossed the red paper with my Cuttlebug folder.  The top and bottom are punched with my Fiskars punch, and the stamp is from Papertrey Ink.  The flowers have a vintage button on top, and there’s lots of machine stitching.

Speaking of Basic Grey, see my new Basic Grey Challenges blinkie on the right side of my blog?  This is in preparation for the launch of our bigger and better blog coming soon.  Martine has been working away to create the coolest blog, it looks so cool that you will just have to play along with us!  I’ll let you know more details when I can…

Also, I was excited to see that my Card Patterns bonus sketch card made it into the top 5 spotlight for last week.  It’s the first time I’ve made their spotlight, so it put a smile on my face!  Have a great day,

The latest sketch is up at the Card Patterns blog.  Here’s the sketch and my card:

For this card I’ve used some of the new Fancy Pants kraft paper, and combined it with the Pina colada range from Kaisercraft.  The butterfly is my much loved Cuttlebug die, and I added the stick pins to the ribbon.  I made this one with no words, so it can be used for any occasion.  Thanks for looking at my card,

Offshore baby boy

Filed under: Uncategorized — antheam @ 5:10 pm

I’ve made a couple more baby boy cards today:

P1020257 (Small)

P1020254 (Small)

I’ve used the Offshore range from Kaisercraft for both of these-the colours seemed perfect for baby cards.  I’ve also used Pink Paislee letter stickers, my Sizzix star die, and other little details, including vintage buttons and machine stitching.  I’ve also used my Fiskars border punch, which is fantastic.  That’s all I’ve got at the moment, so thanks for stopping by,

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #12

I love the colours of the latest Raspberry Suite Color Challenge on Dawn McVey’ s blog.  Here’s the photo inspiration and my card using these colours:

P1020244 (Small)

I’ve used Papertrey Ink cardstock and paper, Kaisercraft paper and rhinestones, and Creative Imaginations lace paper.  I adhered cream paper to chipboard and cut out the label shape with my Nestabilities die and Cuttlebug, and I stamped the tree with green ink and decorated it with rhinestones.  A very fresh, bright card!  Thanks for stopping by and looking at my work,

Anthea
