We just got the new Animal Crackers range by Making Memories at Chandon this week. My godson’s baptism was the perfect use for this too cute range. I printed my photos before working on the Chandon website yesterday afternoon, bought my supplies and made this double page layout last night. I couldn’t wait to see how it would turn out. I love the colours and the little elephants, giraffes, and lions on the papers. I wish I had a baby girl to scrap because the female version is adorable too…

Kaisercraft layout
I made this layout last night, it’s one of the Kaisercraft lines. I like the colours, and I used the new matching brads, which I think are lovely. I’m trying a bit of a different look with my latest layouts, they’re more simple, with less stuff, but everything still matching. I’m working on another one with the last of my Making Memories Noteworthy stuff, will post when finished.

Little pretties
I taught a class at Chandon this morning, a double page layout. I like how we get to do different techniques, today we embossed chipboard. I really enjoy the classes, I think it’s School Holiday classes next, so hopefully I’ll have some kids to teach.
Pictured top is a card I made for a girl who likes pink. It’s a square, which is new, so I get to use different shapes. I like the hot pink with black and white. It’s so simple, but the possibilities are endless with black and white.
I’ve also posted a picture of the programs for a group I run at church. As I have a need to make everything pretty, I used a Making Memories 6×6 Vintage Hip pad, which was the perfect size for the envelopes, and printed out the details before decorating with punched flowers. I hope the girls like them.

For something different
I decided to try something different, so I cut different sized ovals to decorate this layout. I love this Prima paper, and American Crafts Thickers.
I finished Emma’s scrapbook about her dog, Maggie. It only took about a week! I don’t know what got into me, but I planned the pages and once I started I had heaps of ideas. It was really fun doing something I don’t normally do, as I have cats, not dogs. I think Emma’s family appreciated it, which is the main thing.
I’ve also been working at Chandon in the shop, as well as on the website, which is getting closer and closer to going live. This week I’m also teaching a class, which I really enjoy doing.

Class today
This morning I taught a class at Chandon. It was called “Circle of Love”, and involved cutting a lot of circles! I think everyone was a bit daunted at first, but I’d taken the time to prepare a guide, which was well worth the time I took. Everyone was finished and I think they were happy with their layouts. I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing others with their finished work.
This afternoon I did this layout, of my Mum on her birthday. I love this paper, and I knew I wanted to use the title “diamond of the first water”, which is a term from the regency to describe a beautiful lady, which I think describes my Mum. The paper is Prima, and the beautiful (and expensive) flower is also Prima. I wanted it to look fresh and feminine.
I’ve also started a scrapbook for Emma of her dog, Maggie. I’ve got the album and photos, so I’ve got free reign to do whatever I like… I’ve already done the first two layouts!

Various Cards
Yes, I’ve been at it again. This time I used coral and blue for some, which is a bit different. I also used my Cuttlebug and layered flowers on the pale pink cards. I’ve sold a few in the last week, so I made ten more yesterday.
The rest of my cards, and layouts I’ve been doing lately, can be seen on my Flickr (right sidebar).
