More scrapping efforts

Filed under: Layouts — antheam @ 7:31 pm

I’ve nearly finished the heritage photos I scanned a couple of weeks ago.  I’ve been scouring the scrapbooking magazines I get for chances to submit my layouts.  My ultimate aim is to have my work published.  It was great to win a prize pack from one of the magazines, so now I want to see one of my creations in print.  I don’t know how they decide what to print, but sometimes I think that my style is different from the usual.  Anyway, I like the way I scrap so to all the magazines out there – please, please, please, publish me!

Here’s my two latest layouts:

Heritage layouts

Nothing much happening in my life at the moment.  I’m not impressed with the hot weather we’re now having, today in Geelong it’s nearly 30 degrees!

Anyway, I decided I wanted to do some really old fashioned layouts, and my uncle does a lot of family genealogy stuff so I was able to scan some photos of my ancestors on Mum’s side.  Here’s the two I’ve done so far:

More school holiday classes

Filed under: Classes — antheam @ 4:19 pm

Today was the last of four school holiday classes I taught at Chandon.  I’m happy to say that they were all really good, the kids were great.  Last week we did the two ‘off the page’ projects, and this week we did scrapbooking layouts.  I have a cold at the moment, so I had to grab a tissue every few minutes, but apart from that it was smooth sailing.  I think the kids all had fun, so that’s the main thing.  Here’s one of our class layouts:
